Board-Certified in General Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine
Dr. Angela Shields is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over 14 years of experience. Her clinical expertise includes treating adults with depression, mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and substance abuse. She takes an evidence-based, whole health approach to patient care and believes in meeting you "where you are" on your road to recovery. Dr. Shields obtained her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, then completed the Medical Scientist Training Program at Vanderbilt Medical School, earning her MD and Ph.D. in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Elizabeth is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over eight years of experience in critical care and post-anesthesia nursing. She combines her extensive expertise in acute patient care with specialized mental health training to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. Elizabeth provides comprehensive longitudinal psychiatric care, medication management, and IV ketamine therapy, empowering her patients toward lasting wellness and improved quality of life.

Kate developed many of the patient care protocols and workflows now standard across all Waybridge locations, influencing everything from initial phone interactions and intake to the clinic's aesthetic design.
