Dr. Angela Shields is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over 14 years of experience. Her clinical expertise includes treating adults with depression, mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and substance abuse. She takes an evidence-based, whole health approach to patient care and believes in meeting you "where you are" on your road to recovery. Dr. Shields obtained her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, then completed the Medical Scientist Training Program at Vanderbilt Medical School, earning her MD and Ph.D. in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Dr. Jena McFadden is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her doctoral project addressed compassion fatigue, compassion satisfaction, burnout and secondary stress trauma in the ICU nurses at Nebraska Medicine. Dr. McFadden is passionate about treating the entire person and understanding how the mind, body and spirit interrelate. She has an extensive nursing career ranging from adult neurological ICU to Boystown residential treatment center, pre-operative and post-operative care, to outpatient pediatric medicine. She is skilled in diagnosing and treating all major psychiatric disorders through a holistic therapeutic approach combined with medical management.

Stephanie has lived in the Omaha area for the last 14 years and is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated magna cum laude from Creighton University's Accelerated Nursing Program in 2019 and worked as a cardiac nurse as well as in the growing virtual nursing space for four years before graduating with her Masters in Nursing from Clarkson College. She has been helping patients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mood disorders since starting in this field. She is trained in the latest evidence-based approaches to treatment-resistant depression and is passionate about helping patients reach their goals of symptom remediation and breaking free from the cycle of depression.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?
